Overview
Search to drop cuts three interface ideas into one announcement: a search query, a calendar, and a product card. The search bar asks when new merch is dropping. The calendar is labelled August 2025. A product card sits in front of it. The three elements are edited and animated so they read as one beat rather than three separate screens.
Type of work
Video editing and motion design for a product announcement style. Original piece. On-screen copy includes a creator handle; that is part of the graphic, not a client credit.
Role
Amar Benini edited the sequence and built the motion that joins the search, the calendar, and the card.
On screen
The search field is a pill-shaped bar with a magnifying glass, a keyboard icon, and a microphone. Behind it, a dark desktop-style calendar shows weekdays and dates. A glowing product card overlaps the calendar, slightly blown out, with a circular mark at the top. The edit moves through these layers instead of holding on a single static layout.
Format
Landscape film, 1920×1080, about eleven seconds. Built as a short announcement, not a long-form edit.
